Omega Service or Omega Repair

An Omega watch is more than just a timepiece – it’s a piece of Swiss craftsmanship, precision and history on your wrist. Whether you own a Speedmaster, Seamaster, Constellation or de Ville, regular maintenance is essential to maintain the quality and reliability of your Omega. At Horloge-Reviseren.nl we specialize in the Omega service and repair of these high-quality timepieces.

Servicing an Omega watch involves disassembling the complete movement, cleaning it ultrasonically, re-oiling it and adjusting it to factory specifications. Worn parts are replaced, and if desired, the cabinet and glass are polished. This process ensures that your watch will continue to function optimally for many years – both technically and aesthetically.

Does your Omega suffer from a deviation in time display, does it no longer run at all or has there been damage to the glass, crown or dial? Then it’s time to repair your Omega. Our watchmakers have years of experience and access to original Omega parts, which guarantees a high-quality service.

Do you want to be sure that your valuable property is in good hands? At Horloge-Reviseren.nl you will always receive quote in advance, a clear explanation of the work and a 2-year warranty on the work performed. Whether you opt for a complete Omega overhaul or a targeted repair – we ensure that your Watch feels like new again.

Omega overhaul keeps your watch in top condition

All parts of your Omega watch must be in top condition to function as a whole.an Omega overhaul consists of a number of regular routine checks. For example, your Watch is checked for the following parts:

  • the gaskets of your Omega: the gaskets of a watch are important with regard to the water resistance of the watch. Gaskets can dry out, which can compromise waterproofing.
  • Oil change: a complex clockwork assembly consisting of gears, springs and other moving parts needs oil as a lubricant. After a number of years, the quality of the oil becomes less, which means that the movement has to work ‘harder’. This works wear in the hand.
  • Replacement / repair of parts: parts may be subject to wear and tear. Omega overhauling also includes the replacement and repair of parts that need to be replaced.

Should other problems arise during this ‘APK of your watch’, these will of course be fixed immediately as much as possible.

Omega Service by Horloge-reviseren.nl

People don’t just choose to overhaul Omega because it is a beautiful timepiece. After all, precious is a relative concept, and for many people a watch also has a certain emotional value. Suppose, for example, you inherited an Omega watch from a loved one, that value cannot be expressed in money, right? However, it is reason enough to have such a watch properly maintained.

We do this for you with great pleasure and passion. We are a watchmaker by profession and with us your Omega watch is in safe and trusted hands. We do not work from a workshop, because we believe that the profession of watchmaker is a craft. We therefore have ‘just’ a workshop, where we check and repair your watch in peace and full concentration.

It is a pleasant thought for you that you know where your watch is. When you have your watch overhauled by your jeweler, there is a very high chance that he will send your watch to the manufacturer for repair. You do not know exactly where your Omega is and, moreover, you do not know exactly what work/repairs have been carried out on your watch when you receive it back. We do not like this ambiguity and tell you exactly what maintenance was done and what repairs were made. You will also know exactly whether (and if so which) parts have been replaced when you receive your watch again.

Would you also like to have your Omega overhauled by someone who still has a real passion for the profession of watchmaker?

Omega history

Omega’s parent company, La Generale Watch Co, was founded in 1848 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Louis Brandt assembled watches there from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He traveled around Europe to sell the watches. After Louis Brandt died in 1866, his sons Louis-Paul and Cesar decided to have the manufacture of parts and assembly into timepieces done in one place. This was done under the brand name ‘Omega’. It led to a watch factory that employed nine hundred people in 1903, the year both brothers died. The company, now one of Switzerland’s largest watch manufacturers, was continued as ‘Omega watch Co’ by four young descendants.
